Woolworths

Forcia have been appointed as one of Woolworth's preferred contractors and have been instructed to carry out the refurbishment and fit-out of their Department store in Coventry. This project will be carried out over a 12 week period and will involve some structural alterations through to interior fit-out.

Thomas London Day Schools

Forcia have won the go ahead to act as Main Contractors for a further project for Thomas London Day Schools in Clapham, south London.  The 350m2 scheme, which will be known as Thomas’ Reception Block will sit behind the school’s existing Grade II listed building.  Forcia will be working closely with Claridge Architects to create a block which will house Year One classrooms and four outdoor teaching spaces.  The project will feature child-height windows overlooking the playground.  This scheme is due to start in April 2007 and is due to complete in September 2007.

Tower Hamlets

Forcia have been appointed to carry out the structural alterations to form new openings with associated steelwork installation for Tower Hamlets college. This project is being carried out over a 12 week period.

Feltham Data Centre

We have been appointed to undertake the structural alteration to allow for the construction of a new mezzanine level and the internal blockwork.Forcia are working in partnership  with Skanska Rashleigh Weatherfoil and this project is to be completed within 17 weeks.

St Albans - Office Fit-out

We have been appointed to carryout the office fit-out of 5,000 sq/ft for Prima 4 over an 8 week programme.

Stanley Spencer Gallery

The Stanley Spencer Gallery which opened in 1962 is the only gallery in Britain devoted exclusively to an artist in the village where he was born and Forcia have been appointed to carry out the refurbishment of this gallery.  The project involves structural alteration to allow for the construction of a new mezzanine level and the internal fit out of an art gallery. This project is a NEC 3 contract (heritage lottery fund) over a 26 week programme.

Hove – Legal & General

We are currently carrying out the  ground works package and the creation of a security centre in curved cedar and with a stainless steel roof. Interal blockwork and steelwork. This project is being carried out over a  26 week programme.

Global Switch

We have been appointed to carry out structural alterations to create apertures for mechanical plant to include new roof works, formwork and concrete upstands whilst maintaining the water integrity of the building. Works also included the installation of new trimmer steels and formation of 4hr FR partitions with steel doors on the 13th floor to form garages to house mechanical plant.

MIPIM 2007

Forcia recently attended MIPIM the international market for real estate professionals and investors, where there were over 21,000 participants. Once again MIPIM helped us to reinforce our existing relationships and make new friends. We would like to thank everyone who attended the functions we hosted and hope to see you all again soon.
