The Solution

The existing Grade II listed building was sympathetically extended to over 800 m sq, including basements running beneath the front and rear gardens. Following the complex structural works, a comprehensive fit-out was undertaken to enhance all features of this luxury property.

The Challenge

The project consisted of major structural works. Due to its location and many moving parts, it required careful and methodical planning and organisation of works encompassing demolition, piling, basement excavation and tanking, steel and concrete framing, and temporary on-site support.

The Impact

Not only was this stunning property finished to the highest quality, on time and budget, but sustainability was also a top priority. Ground source heat pumps were installed to a depth of 120 metres below ground, generating 50 KW of renewable energy.
