The Solution

We added a new science laboratory, seven classrooms, fitness suite, two staff rooms, a café, cafeteria and seminar rooms. Moreover, our team delivered new corridors, stairwells, lifts, roof-lights, fire-rated internal glazed screens, an impressive ‘oculus’ void and other necessary external and demolition works.

The Challenge

Covid-19 lockdowns presented a serious roadblock to efficient project delivery but we devised a plan to overcome this difficulty, centred around consistent collaboration with our supply chain, the school, and wider project team.

The Impact

Sixth Form students can now enjoy an attractive, welcoming and calming space, which can be used for either studying or socialising. With this project, we effectively took the school’s existing facilities to the next level – a convenient and inspiring learning environment.
