This project comprised of the basement and ground floors of the existing building located underneath the Sloane Square Hotel on the corner of Sloane Street and Sloane square.

The project involved heavy demolition and structural alteration works. The site was located in an extremely busy area with restricted parking and narrow approach roads, there was limited working and storage space around the site and both above and adjacent the site were tenants remaining in full operation throughout the duration of the project which meant that noisy works restrictions were enforced.

The works required alteration of the existing building to provide a shell at basement and ground floor levels, basement level slabs and walls had to be removed, however this included and required the demolition of a concrete slab some 1.5m thick. All this had to be carried out while the building above was temporarily supported.

Our track record and vast experience of working on confined sites and maintaining good neighbour relationship skills was utilised to complete the project with minimum fuss and no complaints from any neighbours. The project was successfully completed on time and within budget.
